Three best friends unravel when something falls from the sky.
Thomas was eleven when a black sphere crashed into the field around his family's farm. He held it in his hands as his mother called out for him — pleading to say goodbye before she drove away for the last time. He let the sphere pull him in instead.
Years later, Thomas arrives at a remote cabin with his two closest friends for one last weekend together — a final attempt to hold onto something that's already slipping away. When the sphere falls again, Thomas becomes convinced it means something. His friends aren't so sure.
Then a buried secret surfaces, and the night fractures beyond repair. As everything Thomas has built his life around collapses in a single evening, he finds himself alone in the field. Holding something he can't explain. Facing a choice he's made before.
